The Promise, in One Paragraph
When Mainspring finishes a job at your home, that work is covered for 90 days – no asterisks, no fine print, no fee to invoke it. If something we repaired or installed isn’t holding up the way it should, call us. We’ll schedule a return visit, we’ll fix it, and we won’t charge you again. That’s the 90-Day Done Right Promise, and it’s part of every job we do. It’s written on your invoice because we mean it, not because a lawyer required it.
What’s Covered
- All workmanship on the job we performed: if we installed it, adjusted it, or repaired it, the quality of that work is on us for 90 days from the date of service.
- Parts we supplied and installed: springs, cables, openers, rollers, hinges – if we brought it on the truck and put it on your door, it’s covered alongside the labor.
- A return visit at no charge: if something isn’t right, we come back. There’s no service call fee, no diagnostic fee, nothing to pay just to get us in the door again.
- A full re-do when a repair doesn’t hold: if the fix didn’t take, we don’t patch the patch – we do the job properly, start to finish.
- The work area left clean: same as the first visit, we take our debris with us and leave your garage the way we found it.
- Our commitment to stand behind it without an argument: you call, we schedule, we show up – that’s the whole process.
What Isn’t Covered
We try to be fair here, and we think you’ll agree these exclusions make sense.
- Damage caused by a storm, vehicle impact, or accident after our visit: if a car backs into the door or a windstorm bends a panel, that’s a new situation – not a failure of our work. Call us anyway; we’ll get it sorted.
- Work performed by another company or a DIY repair after ours: if someone else worked on the door after we did, we can’t stand behind what we didn’t do. We’ll still come look and give you a straight assessment.
- Parts the customer supplied: we can only warrant the quality of parts we sourced and know. If you provided the part, the workmanship on installing it is still ours, but the part itself isn’t.
- Normal wear on equipment we didn’t install or service: doors have components that age on their own timeline. If a spring we didn’t touch eventually wears out, that’s age, not our work failing.
- Problems you declined to have fixed when we flagged them: our technicians point out other issues they notice, in writing, before they leave. If you chose to hold off on a repair we recommended, and that issue causes a problem later, the promise doesn’t extend to it – though we’ll still come back and look without any judgment about the earlier decision.
- Cosmetic wear from normal use: scratches, paint fading, and surface scuffs that develop over time aren’t workmanship failures. If something looks off right after our visit, though, say the word.
How to Use the Promise
Step 1: Call (844) 755-5838 or book online
That number is answered by a live person, around the clock – nights, weekends, and holidays included. Tell us you’re calling about a return visit on a recent job, and we’ll get you to the right person in under a minute.
Step 2: Tell us the job and roughly when it was done
You don’t need to dig up a receipt or fill out a form. We keep the job on file. A name and an approximate date is enough for us to pull everything up.
Step 3: We schedule the return visit
We’ll find a time that works for you and confirm it. No waiting list, no “someone will call you back eventually.” We treat the return visit the same way we treated the original appointment – we’ll be there when we say.
Step 4: We make it right
The technician arrives with the job history, does the work properly, and doesn’t leave until the door runs the way it should. No charge. That’s what “standing behind it” means at Mainspring.
Timing
The 90-day window starts on the date of service – that date is on your invoice. If you notice something on day 91 or day 95, call us anyway. We’re reasonable people who’ve been doing this since 1984, and we’re not going to hide behind a calendar. Each Mainspring location is independently operated, but every one of them honors this promise the same way – because The Keystone Standard isn’t optional. It’s the name we put on the work.
