Mention the offer when you book. One offer per household per visit; offers can’t be combined with each other and don’t apply to work already quoted or completed. Local pricing and availability vary by location - your local Mainspring Garage Door Co. team confirms the final price in writing before any work begins.
Every job is priced the same way: a free written estimate
We price the job, not the hour. Before anyone touches anything, you get the full price for the specific work in writing - no hourly meter, no membership to join, no financing to sign, and no line items added afterwards. If the number isn’t right for you, the estimate is still free and you owe us nothing.
How We Price Garage Door Work
Every job at Mainspring Garage Door Co. is priced one way: a free written estimate, specific to your door, before any work begins. No hourly rate ticking while the technician reads the situation. No plan to sign up for. No membership that makes the number make sense only if you stay in it. You get a flat price for the actual job in front of us, in writing, and that is the number on your invoice when we’re done.
That matters because garage door work has a way of surprising homeowners who call a company that charges by the hour. When you see the whole number upfront, you can decide clearly. You’re not guessing what the clock will say. The price we write down is the price you pay.
What a Visit Actually Costs You to Find Out
Nothing. The estimate visit is free.
A technician comes to your home, looks at the door, diagnoses what it needs, and hands you a written price for the job. The whole visit runs about thirty to forty-five minutes in most cases. At the end of it, you have a document with a number on it and a clear description of the work. You’re under no obligation to say yes. If you want to think it over, that’s your right. We’d rather you feel good about the decision than feel rushed into one.
That’s what the free estimate is for: so calling us costs you nothing but a little time.
When People Usually Call Us
Carl Dutton here. After four decades in this trade, the pattern is pretty consistent.
The first hard cold snap of November is when the phones get busy. Springs and cables that were holding on through October decide they’re done. It almost always happens on a morning when someone has somewhere to be – a car trapped in a garage is not a minor inconvenience. We hear that story every year, and we’re not surprised by it. Cold makes metal brittle and grease thick, and a door that’s been working with worn parts doesn’t get a warning label before it quits.
Winter is also when opener problems surface. Cold affects the logic boards and the drive systems in ways that warm weather hides.
Spring and early summer bring a different kind of call: people who’ve looked at their door all winter and decided it’s time for something new. A replacement before the summer heat sets in, or a door that finally matches the house the way they’ve always wanted it to.
Whatever brought you to this page, we’ve likely seen it before. Call us and we’ll tell you what we’re looking at.
What You Can Expect From Us Either Way
Whether you’re using one of the standing offers above or calling us for the first time with no coupon in hand, the same standards apply to every job.
The written estimate comes before any work starts – no exceptions. Once you approve it, that number doesn’t move. Our trucks arrive stocked with springs, cables, and openers for most common makes and models, so the job usually gets finished in a single visit. No waiting on a parts order, no second trip scheduled for next week.
Every technician we send is background-checked and arrives in uniform. They’re trained as journeymen under the K.E.Y.S. values code – Krafted right, Every time, Your home first, Standing behind it. That last one is formalized in the 90-Day Done Right Promise: if the work isn’t right within ninety days, we come back and make it right. In writing. No arguing, no paperwork, no case to build. We’ve been doing this since 1984, and a company that plans to be in your community for another forty years doesn’t leave problems on the table.
Seniors and veterans receive a permanent 5% discount on every visit – no expiration, no qualifying period.
Common Questions
Is the estimate really free?
Yes, fully free. A technician comes to your home, assesses the door, and gives you a written price for the specific job. There’s no fee for the visit and no obligation to proceed. If you decide not to book the work, you owe us nothing. Call (844) 755-5838 to schedule.
Do you offer financing or a monthly plan?
We don’t, and that’s deliberate. Every job is priced off a free written estimate – one flat price for the work in front of us. No interest rates, no installment structures, nothing to sign up for. We’ve found that a clear, fair price upfront is a better deal for the homeowner than a payment product with terms buried in the fine print.
Can I combine two offers?
One offer per household per visit. If you’re not sure which one applies best to your situation, the technician can walk through it with you before any work begins. The estimate visit is the right time to sort that out.
Does the price change once you’re here?
No. The written estimate is the price. If a technician opens a panel and finds something unexpected that changes the scope of the job, we stop, explain what we found, and write a new estimate before doing anything additional. You approve the new number or you don’t – your call, not ours.
